Vienna

The capital of Austria is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. The magnificent Habsburg palaces and impressive museums in the urban space are complemented by overwhelming greenery. The city’s location on the beautiful Danube adds charm to the city. And, what is even more better, at every step you can drink excellent Viennese coffee or eat a delicious Sacher cake. If you need a break from sightseeing you should take it in the Prater amusement park.

The most important monuments are located in the so-called Vienner Ring. It is a wide avenue surrounding the very center of the city. There are, among others, the Hofburg Palace, the Parliament and museums of Natural History and of Art which look like twins. Another fantastic site from the must-see list is the Schönbrunn Palace – a 17th-century Habsburg residence with a huge garden with labyrinths.

The Viennese peculiarities include also the Hundertwasser Haus and the House of Music. The first one because of the shape, the second one because of the interior. Each of them is worth seeing.

If the group has the opportunity to expand the tour, we recommend connecting Vienna with Moravia – a beautiful area full of amazing natural formations, such as caves and abysses, as well as extensive vineyards and charming towns such as Brno.
